Avni has gained her bachelor's in Economics and wants to explore her options. She is not completely sure about what she wants to do in her life yet, but she knows that she was born to be a leader. She is a taskmaster and is excellent with team management. Everyone around her tells her that she was born to be a manager and she must consider an MBA degree. Her peers and seniors have told her that there are a lot of options for MBA Specialized courses that she can choose from to further enhance her future career.
She agrees and hesitates at the same time and looks through the MBA entrance examinations and realizes that her arithmetics is unpolished. She suspects whether there is even a chance for her and is very sceptical, and is repelled by the idea of taking a drop-year.
She decides to attempt multiple entrance examinations including CET, CAT, ATMA, and a few college-based independent examinations.
But none of them seemed to solve her problem until she found out about another MBA entrance examination called MAT.
MAT stands for the management aptitude test. This is an extremely relied on and reputed national level MBA entrance examination. MAT is conducted four times every year and is known for the additional chances that it gives a candidate to be placed in a top college without wasting an entire year. Find out which month is the best to sit for the MAT examination. MAT is also one of the easiest and yet challenging examinations.
Avni learns that this examination does not evaluate candidates strictly on their arithmetic or logical abilities but gives them a chance to prove their calibre in dynamic aptitudes. She was impressed and relieved after she learnt about the syllabus of the examination.
Avni has a humanities background and also is an avid reader. She realizes that she might have to work hard with her arithmetic skills but she is good with general knowledge and is also well-versed with the English language. With her background and avid knowledge in economics, she understands that she is also good with data sufficiency and hence will cover up for arithmetic in other subjects.
With her interest in languages, is confident about her knowledge of grammar, comprehension, and other aspects of language. She is also in the habit of memorizing facts and hence might not face issues with the Indian and Global Environment.
She wondered if the MAT examination scores are accepted by the best colleges in history and go on to read further about it.&

Avni was thrilled to find out that this examination would help her secure a seat in the top colleges of the country. Given that she was already preparing for CAT and CET, even though she was not very confident about it, she realized the syllabus for these examinations is more or less the same. She would be well-versed with her arithmetic skills as well as with her practice for other examinations.
She realized that the MAT examination is conducted four times every year and a candidate is allowed to appear for all the exams. This examination can be taken online from the examination centres, offline from the examination centers, or even online from a candidate's home.
She was delighted and motivated after knowing how easy and achievable the MAT exam has made her dreams look.
With further research, she found out that one of the best ways to secure admission to the top colleges is to make sure that she appears for the third and fourth round of the examination as well. By this time all her other examinations including CAT, CET, ATMA will be done and she will know if she has performed well enough to secure admission to a top college. If by then her performance doesn't seem satisfactory she can attend the last two rounds of the MAT exam and make sure to perform exceptionally well.
Here, since most candidates have secured admissions already, the number of candidates appearing for the exam is significantly low. Hence, there is a higher chance for her percentile to be much higher than the other exams. This will further increase her chance of securing admission to a top college.
Avni is more motivated than ever to crack the examination and make her way into her desired colleges. Avni just knew that she was born to be a leader. And knowing the complex strategies to get your way even when there are obstacles, she knew she would make a fantastic problem-solver and manager. She also knew that there are a ton of career options that are available for her in the future.
