Q1.

Each question contains a statement followed by Quantity I and Quantity II. Read the contents clearly and answer your questions accordingly.

Quantity I: The present age of Anusha is 18 years more than the present age of Ranveer. After 5 years, the ratio of ages of Ranveer and Anusha will be 7: 13, then find the age of Ranveer, after 8 years?

Quantity II: The present age of Bhairavi is twice the present age of Praveen. The ratio between the present ages of Gowrish and Praveen is 7: 4. If the age of Bhairavi after 6 years will be 30 years, then find the age of Praveen after 3 years?

Quantity I:

Present age of Anusha = 18 + Present age of Ranveer

After 5 years, the ratio of ages of Ranveer and Anusha = 7: 13 (7x, 13x)

13x – 7x = 18

6x = 18

x = 3

The age of Ranveer, after 8 years = 7x – 5 + 8 = 24 years

Quantity II:

The ratio of present age of Bhairavi and Praveen = 2: 1

The ratio of present age of Gowrish and Praveen = 7: 4

The present age of Bhairavi, Praveen and Gowrish = 8: 4: 7

The age of Bhairavi, after 6 years = 30 years

The present age of Bhairavi = 24 years

8’s = 24

1’s = 3

The age of Praveen after 3 years = 4x + 3 = 15 years

Quantity I > Quantity II
